The exhibition “The Flame of the Beautiful, the Great and the True” was a small but precious ark of memory, dedicated to the universal symbols of Olympism, the Olympic Flame and the Olympic Hymn.

It lasted from May 24, 2024 to September 24, 2024 and was hosted by Palamas House, the house where the great Greek poet was born in Patras, at 241 Korinthou Street, a historic building in the heart of the city, recently (2018) reconstructed “in the image and likeness” of the original building, where the poet of the Olympic Anthem, Kostis Palamas, lived the first years of his life.
With the torches of the Olympic and Paralympic Games as the central exhibits, the exhibition discussed several other aspects of the modern Olympic Games through a multitude of other memorabilia and documents.
Mr. Antonopoulos, holder of the Master’s Degree in Olympic Studies of the School of Human Movement Sciences and Quality of Life of the University of the Peloponnese, contributed to the creation of the important exhibition, the result of the voluntary work of several people which operated and sought to honor the PARIS 2024 Olympic Games.
